Let me start off and say that Reiki is NOT a religion.
There are those who may continue to argue that there is no difference between “religion and spirituality” and I disagree.
I was reminded by a very dear friend of mine who says, as a Christian woman, she has discovered for her Self that there is a huge difference between the dogma of organized religion and having a personal relationship with Christ.
That message really got me thinking, that is the same belief that I hold, that our Creator, the energies of the Universe, God/Goddess, All That Is and any other name you resonate with and holds meaning and validation for you ALL have the same end result.
It is about the personal relationship you have from Within.
Reiki and Spirituality
The dogma of organized religion, which stems through a fear based system leading one to believe they are a bad person if they do not follow the rules! They call you a “sinner” yet this sets one up to own toxic emotions of guilt, blame, shame and even anger which only clouds one’s personal relationship to the Deity of choice.
Reiki, on the other hand, is a Universal symbol of Love and Light.
If you understand the story of the history of Reiki you know that on the very last day Dr. Usui stood upon the mountain frustrated and saddened by not receiving what he went in search to find.
He had basically given up hope of finding what he was searching for.
However, it was through this release, by creating this detachment, he opened and allowed his Self to receive the gift for which he sought. It was only then that Dr. Usui received the Sphere of Light which held the secrets and the keys to all things.
It is because this secret knowledge and ancient wisdom was brought forth from Divine Sources that Reiki, in and of itself, holds No religious doctrine.
It follows No one religious belief.
Reiki Spiritual Healing
Reiki allows for a direct connection to the Universal Life Force Energies which sustains all life. All that is needed is your openness and willingness to step into the flow of all that which you are and have always been!
Therefore, it doesn’t matter where your belief systems lie, Reiki is for each and every one us.
As you recall the word itself, Rei Ki is the flow of Universal life force energy. It is the word “Universe” that unites each one of together in the grand flow of Life’s energy!
All one needs to do is to simply step into this natural flow.
It’s not a matter of “mine is better than yours.”It IS, however, about finding what is TRUTH for YOU.
Keep what resonates deep within your Soul, listen to the song it sings deep within your heart. It matters not what others Tell you to believe. The only thing that matters is what YOU believe!
Fear not the judgments of others as you step into the Universal Life Force Energy which is You, in all your Greatness.
