Together, in previous articles, we have walked through your physical body, played within the etheric double body, home to the Kundalini Chakras and today, we are going to dance within your Emotional Body.
How often have you heard others say to you, “you are too emotional” or “you wear your heart on your sleeve” or “stop being so sensitive” — and my own personal favorite, “you always make a mountain out of a mole hill!”
When you are fully feeling your emotions, you are expressing your self in an authentic manner, yet for many, this authentic expression is only Half of your Truth!!
Your Emotional Body
Your emotional body is an aspect of the “invisible” you, the one which cannot be see by the naked eye.
You might already be familiar with the term, “aura” as it is often referred to. When you are deep within your emotions, your emotional body can be quiet large, just as the opposite is true when you shut down your emotions…your emotional body can contract or collapse!
Your emotional body is one in which is always in a state of constant flux.
The condition or “state” of your emotional body says a lot about you as a whole and is one way in which your body can communicate with you.
There are three aspects of the emotional body.
The first is your Column of Light, which supports not only your Life Force Energy, and also your Hara Line. The second are the Meridians and the third are the emotional components of dis-ease and/or illness.
We are each comprised of energy, each with our own unique energetic imprint. Just as your fingers have an imprint unique only unto you, so is your energetic make up. It is the vibrational frequency of Self that you want to tune into, similar to that of your favorite radio station.
Find your frequency and watch all things begin to shift in your life.
Your Column of Light
You cannot visibly see your column of light, yet it exists.
This column extends from above your head to below your feet and is what connects you to Source from above and to the Earth Mother from below.
It is through this column of light that your Life Force energy flows through you. If your energy flow is weak or if there are breaks or damages to your Hara Line, then dis-ease and/or illness may become more your norm. At the very least being overly tired may suggest a weakened or taxed flow of your life force energy.
Just as oxygen is pumped through your veins by your heart and is vital to your survival, so is your life force energy which flows through your energy bodies by the assistance of your column of light.
It, too, is a necessary part of your survival.
Let’s take a deeper look at what this life force energy is from a basic perspective…
There is more to you, than the you that you see when you look into a mirror, as you open to see the vastness of who you are. Your physical form that is reflecting back to you, is simply a reflection of what is taking place from those invisible aspects of you!
It’s what you CAN’T see with your physical eyes that holds the key to your overall health and well-being!
Your life force energy is the current that sustains all life. Just as electricity distributes power to your home, your column of light directs the current flowing through your entire state of existence through your energetic makeup.
Spiritual Healing and Balance
If you are unwell, feeling a bit under the weather, maybe tired, blue or even somewhat sad, there is a disruption with the current of your energetic flow.
Nature has an internal “reset button” that returns us all to a Natural Order of Balance.
When you learn to tap into your natural flow, into how you feel when you are balanced and healthy or how you feel when you are not, you can learn a great deal about your Self from an energetic perspective.
Whether you call it “natural healing” “emotional healing” “spiritual healing” or “alternative healing”… it all first begins within.
If your life force energy is weak, if there is a disturbance or disruption, your system will leak energy.
When this occurs, wherever the leakage is located, the energy can no longer move or flow. This creates a dam around the closest organ or system to the disruption and just like the waters become stagnant, so, too does your energy.
To release this dam and get your life force energy flowing, naturally, once again, it is important to maintain a healthy dose of movement. Movement can be as simple as getting up and creating some type of physical movement or can be a little more involved using meditation.
Practice Daily Meditation
Through a daily practice of meditation, you will learn to quiet the racing thoughts of the mind and connect with that aspect of you that is invisible to the naked eye.
- Close your eyes and imagine there is a sphere of light floating above your head.
- See it, sense it’s presence, feel it or simply know or imagine that it is there.
- Next, visualize or imagine that it is entering at the top of your head.
- As you instruct it to continue its movement down through your body, paying close attention to how it feels as it moves, all the way down to the soles of your feet.
- As you feel it exit the feet, notice how it naturally is drawn down into the earth beneath you…
Sit in this space for as long as you can.
If random thoughts become present, simply acknowledge them and allow them to drift away and return your focus back to the energetic flowing movement within you!
Any place where you felt a resistance, a heaviness, or any other type of restrictive feeling, these are the areas within your emotional body which you will initially wish to place your attention. Send extra light through your column to these areas, see or feel it breaking up any blockage and being washed away.
Your daily practices of meditation first thing in the morning as you awaken and the last thing prior to sleep will help you to connect to the vastness that is you. You will begin to feel better, think more clearly and you will develop a sense of calmness within you.
In the next article, we will be taking this process one step further by shedding an even deeper light into the power and importance of this amazing emotional body that is just as much a part of who you are as your physical body is!!!
Until then…
