With Lilith (Black Moon) opposite Mars and the Moon cozying up to the South Node this week, some pent up old emotions may finally be forced to the surface based on past (and karmic) situations/relationships.
The old baggage wants to be let go of now.
Lilith is astute and holds nothing back and opposite Mars (the aggressor, the warrior), it could be a blow out.
In the Hebrew myth of Lilith, who was the first wife of Adam (before Eve was created), this goddess was a force to be reckoned with. While Adam was created from earth Lilith was created from “impure sediments.” Because of this, Adam expects her to be submissive but claiming equality she goes off into exile to the Red Sea, mates with evil spirits and bears tons of demonic children. Myth has it that she was so angry about being rejected when Eve was created that she ate her children every night and gave men wet dreams to zap their strength. She was not messing around.
Lilith embodies the archetype of feminine strength that ignores patriarchal dominance and power – she operates like a Lady Mars.
So this week, Mars and Lady Mars are having a face-off.
Find a healthy way to channel this energy but whatever you do, don’t try to stuff Lilith energy because it will surely find a way out if you attempt to repress whatever needs to be released.
