This week we have new moon in Capricorn on January 16th, along with two upcoming powerful eclipses (a total lunar eclipse/full moon in Leo on January 31st and another solar eclipse/new moon in Aquarius on February 15th) over the next several weeks.
Eclipses tend to bring sudden and/or unexpected changes and depending on where they are transiting to your natal chart will give you more info about how this will likely affect you personally.
With lunar eclipses blotting out the moon, it’s a time to clear your emotional slate and any excess emotional baggage that is not serving you at this time. This new moon in Capricorn is next to Venus, so it provides you with a good opportunity to reevaluate your money and relationships and what “abundance” and “receiving” mean to you.
Don’t carry dead weight into this new cycle. And limiting beliefs can also take the back door exit.
We’re getting the opportunity to expand and so it’s important to allow those metaphorical “deaths” to happen in order to open up to the new. Also, with the oracle card of the week, stay positive about the seeds you’ve planted.
New Moon is a time to re-energize any intentions and get ready to set them free next Full Moon/Eclipse later this month.
