Is it making you sick… or keeping you healthy…
What is your “will” and how does it affect the state of your health? Your “will” has nothing to do with “willpower.”
So, where does your will come from?
Your will can be found in a tiny gland called your thymus.
Your thymus gland is located in the upper portion of your chest halfway between the Heart and Throat chakras and is the main gland associated with the immune system.
Wellness and your energy levels
According to the thymus expert Dr. John Diamond in his book, Life Energy (Paragon House, 1990, page 15) Dr. Diamond states, “The Thymus gland monitors and regulates energy flow throughout the body’s energy systems, initiating instantaneous corrections to overcome imbalances as they occur so as to achieve a rebalancing and harmony of life energy.”
Further, it is the link between mind and body, being the first organ to be affected by mental attitudes and stress.
A healthy, active thymus gland makes for vibrant and positive health.
Through a healthy and active thymus gland we can increase our health, our vitality and improve the state of our Will. It is through the Will that we can become well, fight dis-ease and illness or maintain excellent health.
When the Will to be well is low, often one can feel a sense of sluggishness, seem lethargic or develop the “whatever” syndrome, the “I don’t care” approach to living life. When the thymus is sluggish, not distributing energy in a sufficient manner, the immune system is weakened, making one much more vulnerable to dis-ease and/or illness.
Your health and “secondary gains”
Now, we know that none of us “wants” or “wishes” to not be well. But what goes unrecognized by many is that by not being well there may be “Secondary gains.”
What is a secondary gain?
An example of a secondary gain might be gaining attention one is not receiving. Let’s say that your spouse, partner or parent is not giving you the attention you think or feel, you want or need. Yet, when you become ill, their attention is now placed upon your comfort and in “making you feel better,”
This is a secondary gain.
You are receiving something you want or need by being ill. This typically stems from an old, out-dated subconscious belief. If you are ill, take a look at patterns, habits and routines to see if somewhere, deep within, there is a secondary gain subconsciously blocking you from being well.
If not, let’s check the thymus.
Checking the thymus gland is a simple process. There is a simple muscle testing technique you can you to test whether your thymus is weak or strong or you can skip the testing process and move to a technique commonly known as the “Thymus Thump.”
There are a variety of healing modalities available today, which include many versions of the thymus thump. Author and Energy Healer, Donna Eden shows in book, Energy Medicine, a technique she calls the “Three Thumps.” She describes this thumping technique by tapping on both sides of the collarbone just below the U-shaped area at the bottom of the throat, then on the thymus gland. (see Energy Medicine, Penguin Putman 1998 page 63)
The healing modality EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) also incorporates the thymus gland into their tapping sequence.
Dr. Diamond, uses muscle testing to test the strength or weakness in every patient before any other test or procedure.
Why?
Because the emotions that are governed by the thymus are the two main emotions of all human beings, Love and Hate.
Love is the most powerful healing emotion found within humans and just as powerful, but having a negative effect upon the body is hate. If dis-ease or illness has found it’s way into your life, take a personal inventory of your own emotions. Embark upon an inner journey with faith and courage.
Offer love and forgiveness, beginning with your Self first and Tap, Tap, Tap away on the Thymus.
Start tapping and Start Living a life that is balanced, happy and healthy!!
