Dis-ease and illness, pain and discomfort are sure, telltale signs that something within is out of balance.
So what exactly IS “balance?”
The body is naturally designed to heal its self, given the proper environment. When this proper environment is not being created within, just as a spoke out of balance creates a bicycle wheel to wobble, so too does your physical body.
When the immune system is low due to stress you may develop signs of a cold or flu.
When the endocrine system goes topsy turvey, your thyroid may show signs of inactivity or over activity and when the central nervous system goes haywire, one might show signs of anxiety.
Any of these signs and others are the body’s natural way of communicating with you, telling you that something within is out of balance.
How to uncover your own imbalances
There are several ways in which you can flip the switch with an imbalance causing the body to return to its natural order of balance.
When the scales have tipped, we tip them back!
Sounds simple?
It is, really!
The secret is learning how to communicate with your physical body.
Using an ancient, yet simple, technique known as Muscle Testing or Applied Kinesiology, you will develop a relationship with your Self.
There are several methods of muscle testing, the easiest being the “sway method.” Using the method you simply stand up, ask your yes or no question, and wait for the body to move.
When the body moves slightly forward, your response is Yes.
When the body moves backwards, it is a No.
The movement is slight, yet you will feel the body sway. Test it out. Begin asking questions you Know the answer to is Yes. Notice how your body moves. Then repeat for a No response. The Art becomes in learning how to ask the questions.
It takes time, however it’s a lot of fun and you will uncover all the imbalances within your own body.
How can you turn around an imbalance?
After you’ve located an imbalance and you’ve asked the proper questions to uncover the “root cause,” now it’s time to release whatever became known to you.
There are many paths to wellness one can follow to rebalance an imbalance.
One of my favorite and most effective is to go within the illness, the pain, discomfort or dis-ease and Converse with it! Yes, give it a voice. Ask questions and truly listen to the answers.
These answers may come in something you hear, sense or know, or they may show up as a very vivid and clear mental picture. You may even feel as though you have made it up!
Maybe you have, but who cares!
What’s important to remember is that whatever is ailing you is trying to get your attention! It is trying to communicate with you. When you give it a voice, listen to what it is sharing with you, you have the ability to address what is at the root cause.
As the answers come, love it, be grateful that it has shown up in your life, that you now are being offered an opportunity to promote healing from within.
- Offer it your love.
- Offer it your forgiveness.
- Offer it whatever you feel it is asking of you.
Once you’ve completed the exercise send it packing!
And then watch it leave.
Change doesn’t happen overnight. Healing takes time. After all it took some time for the ailment to become out of balance, be compassionate, gentle and kind to your self while you are learning to return to your natural order of balance.
