Is beauty skin deep?
We can pretty much all agree that the answer is a resounding “no.”
So if that’s the case, then the source of real beauty is something that originates from within.
And that means that beauty originates from your radiant health. Looking good and feeling good come from the same exact place… your health!
Your health is reflected externally in the brightness of your eyes, the luster of your skin and the energy that radiates from your face.
Have you ever had a day when you felt great and it seemed like everyone commented that you had a glow?
So the question is, where does this radiance come from?
Your Radiance Comes From Qi (pronounced “Chee”)
Qi is the vital energy that is inherent to all living things.
Qi flows in a series of connected pathways called meridians that are linked to your internal organs. When the energy flowing along the meridians and organs is in balance, the body is in an optimal state of health.
Acupuncture, Non-Surgical Face Lifts & Natural Facial Rejuvenation
Every line and wrinkle is an indicator of the deeper processes of the body. Underlying health problems are identified and treated by the acupuncturist.
This allows the acupuncturist to treat the wrinkles and lines on a deeper level and not merely in a “cosmetic” way.
An acupuncturist manipulates Qi at specific points along these meridians to induce a healthy balance in the body.
Acupuncture will increase the circulation of energy, blood and lymph which will improve your face’s natural, healthy color and diminish wrinkles and eliminate fine lines.
Facial Rejuvenation with Acupuncture is becoming more popular. Acupuncture facelifts have even been featured in the mainstream media, such as on ABC TV’s “Good Morning America” and PBS’s “Healthweek.”
According to a study published in the International Journal of Clinical Acupuncture; among 300 cases treated with facial acupuncture, 90% had marked beneficial results with only one course of treatment.

So what is involved with getting a facial rejuvenation treatment?
The first step is determining whether or not you are a good candidate for facial rejuvenation. Here are a few guidelines we use at AcuHealth Holisitic to help clients make their decision.
You are a good candidate for Facial Rejuvenation if:
- Your facial wrinkles are not excessive.
- You wish to avoid invasive procedures and negative side effects.
- You want to maintain not just your physical beauty, radiance and vitality in your face, but you also want to improve your overall health and well-being.
You are not a good candidate if:
- You currently smoke, drink alcohol excessively or use recreational drugs.
- You use tanning salons of sunbathe excessively.
- You have excess folds of skin from rapid weight loss.
For the best results 6 initial treatments are taken twice a week for 3 weeks. Subsequent visits will be once a week for 2 weeks for a total of 8 visits.
The initial session is 90 minutes and includes a health history review and exam as well as an initial treatment. Each additional session takes about an hour.
Monthly sessions for maintenance care may be advised to retain and enhance the results.
