A few years ago I became pretty sick.
The worst part was that nothing seemed to be able to help me. Some suggested that I had a too low red blood cell count, iron deficiency, or too low blood pressure.
Whatever had been recommended to me did not improve my condition.
My Masters and Teachers in the Akashic Records kept on telling me that I needed to cleanse my blood by changing my diet. Following their guidance I took my well-being into my own hands.
Changing my diet made the biggest difference.
I started to really pay attention to the acids in my diet and felt a huge improvement within one week. Today I love my new diet and feel better than I have ever felt before.
I truly hope that it will make a positive difference in your life too!
The Importance of acid and alkaline balance for your health
Virtually all degenerative diseases, including cancer, heart disease, arthritis, osteoporosis, kidney stones, gallstones, and tooth decay are associated with excess acidity in the body.
The body has a homeostatic mechanism that maintains a constant pH level of 7.4 in the blood. This mechanism works by depositing and withdrawing acid and alkaline minerals from other locations including the bones, soft tissues, body fluids and saliva. Therefore, the pH of these other tissues can fluctuate greatly.
The pH of saliva offers a window through which you can see the overall pH balance in your body.
Cancer and other degenerative diseases cannot exist in an alkaline environment.
All forms of arthritis are associated with excess acidity. Acid in the body dissolves both teeth and bones. Whatever health situation you are faced with, you can monitor your progress toward a proper acid/alkaline balance by testing your saliva pH level.
For example, Felicia Drury Kliment says in her book The Acid Alkaline Balance Diet that…
“Acidic wastes thicken the blood, and the coagulated blood cannot carry the quantity of nutrients and oxygen the organs need to function efficiently. When we refer to malfunction of organs, we really mean the abnormal functions of the millions of cells that make up the organ. These cells depend, among other things, upon oxygen to manufacture energy and upon amino acids for their repair and regeneration. When the cell is deprived of these substances, it either dies and turns into acidic waste or adapts to the new oxygen – and nutrition-deprived environment by becoming malignant.”
Edgar Cayce, known for the thousands of Akashic Record Readings he gave, states in his book The Edgar Cayce Remedies:
…”One of the manners in which the body assumes a balance is in the acid-base, or acid-alkaline relationship”…
I am more and more convinced that this kind of balance, as it is expressed in the body tissues, is a critical thing. We know that numerous tissues, fluids, and tracts of the body depend upon their pH, or acidity level, for healthy function.
The blood, for example, must maintain a pH within a very limited critical range or the body becomes seriously ill.
One must keep themselves at specific levels of acidity or alkalinity to function properly and resist the inroads of disease.
How to Do the Saliva pH Test
Wait at least 2 hours after eating. Fill your mouth with saliva and then swallow it. Do this again to help ensure that the saliva is clean. Then the third time, put some saliva onto pH paper. Compare the color with the chart that comes with the pH paper. If this comparison indicates that your saliva is acid (below pH of 7.0) wait two hours and repeat the test.
You can buy the ph paper in health food stores.
Three Ways to Restore Acid/Alkaline Balance in Your Body
If your saliva is too acid you may wish to increase the alkalinity of your body. Ways to do this include:
1. Eat mostly alkaline foods
The general “rule of thumb” is to eat 20% acid foods and 80% alkaline foods.
Avoid the “strong acid” foods. It is the sulfur in the concentrated protein of meat, fish, eggs and hard cheese that makes these foods so acidic. Fats and oils have a neutral pH, neither acid nor alkaline. Plant-based beverages (herbal teas, juices of fruits and vegetables) are generally mildly alkaline.
2. Supplement your diet with alkaline minerals
The main alkaline minerals in the body are calcium, magnesium, sodium and potassium. These minerals complement each other.
For example, calcium is needed to contract a muscle and magnesium is needed to relax it. At a cellular level, your cells maintain a balance of potassium inside and sodium outside, but this pumping of potassium and sodium requires magnesium. The calcium concentration in cells is controlled by sodium.
All four of these minerals work together in the body.
Problems arise in the body when one or more of the minerals are deficient or when the minerals are out of balance with each other.

3. Supplement your diet with freshly made fruit and vegetable juices
As a treatment for cancer, some doctors recommend one 8 oz glass per hour for every waking hour of the day. We could never eat the amount of nutrition we drink with these juices. These juices alkalize the body and provide an abundance of enzymes, vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients.
I believe that it is an expression of self-love and self respect to nourish your body with live foods. Take care of yourself while you feel good, and don’t wait until the stress of dis-ease creates a lot of fear and confusion in your life.
Most of all LOVE YOURSELF, because self-love is equal to alkaline foods!
