Most of us are on the path of self-discovery, trying to become healthier, happier and more successful individuals.
During this process we often give our power away to outside sources, without really being aware of it. We care too much about what others think of us. We want to manifest things and lifestyles that will make us happier and more fulfilled, so we hope.
True empowerment means that we are taking an honest look at how we feel, who we have become and how we manage our gifts and talents during this lifetime.
What is empowerment?
Empowerment means to “become powerful,” to be able to utilize our full power in all areas of our lives.
This kind of empowerment involves reflecting on our personal goals and our willingness to make the necessary adjustments in our thinking and behavior to implement the new insights into our lives.
We need to examine our values to ensure that we are not following the “herd” or trying to fit in with the crowd. It usually makes us feel safer to be part of the masses and follow like-minded people. However, is this thinking and behavior really in alignment with who we are?
Does it support our unique gifts and desires?
What is it that you really want from this life?
When you ask yourself this question do you list material things or are you focused on experiences and emotions and maybe even a “soul fulfillment.”
Do you work to be able to buy the vacation cabin in the woods or do you strive to add more quality to your life, wanting to be able to smell the forest and share it with your loved ones.
On the level of manifestation it can actually look the same, like a cabin in the woods.
On an energetic level it can embody a very different meaning.
How we feel when me make our choices will determine our quality of life and not how much we actually manifest. When we feel good about ourselves and work for the right reasons towards something, the outcome will always be pleasant. When we focus only on our goals we will get lost in doing and the busyness of life. We will neglect our gifts and talents because the goal has become so much more important than how we actually feel in this moment.
True self-empowerment means that we are able to create a balance between our physical and spiritual needs. It means that we are in tune with the energy that brought us here and allow it to move us through life.
Let me to give you an example that I have received from my Akashic Records, “The Energy Behind Teaching The Akashic Record Classes.”
On the surface it might look the same but the energy I generate as I do the work will determine my quality of life.
A) Egoic (unhealthy) Empowerment:
- Think of all the things that could go wrong.
- Any fear of rejection or not being understood.
- Thinking of financial profit.
B) Spiritual Empowerment:
- Thinking of the powerful connection that others are establishing as they access their Akashic Records.
- Seeing the healing and evolution happening in oneself and others on all levels.
- Imagining the divine energy blessing us.
Which energy will make you feel better now?
Remember that it will look the same as a physical manifestation but will be experienced differently. Choice A will make you feel more competitive and eventually separate you from others, creating isolation and sometimes the illusion that you are better or worse than others. Choice B will come from your soul-being and empower you on an all levels.
Everybody gets lifted up with this energy.
It’s a win – win situation.
This kind of spiritual empowerment is the only true form of empowerment.
I encourage you to always check in with your feelings and find a healthy way to empower yourself spiritually.
