The term “comfort food” just took on a whole new meaning.
Science is finally catching up to what holistic practitioners have said for years (at least the ones that I know)…. what you eat helps to determine your mood and how you feel. That’s because the foods we eat affect the bacteria in our stomach, and it turns out that there is a direct connection between your stomach and brain by way of the vagus nerve.
